How To Grow Thicker Hair

People who have thin, flat, and limp hair are always looking for ways to get thicker and fuller locks. Most of us get a little jealous when we see someone who has beautiful thick hair. But what if I said you can have hair like that too?

You've probably spent a lot of money on shampoos and products you see on TV that promise to give you gorgeous, thick hair. They often have models in the commercials with a long thick mane of hair flowing in the breeze. Those commercials are exaggerated in order to sell you a product that doesn't perform as well as it promises.

There are other ways to grow thicker hair, and I'm here to tell you how.

Diet

You need to take in the right nutrients if you want to grow thicker hair. You should have plenty of healthy fats and protein in your diet. These foods help prevent your hair from thinning. Foods that contain antioxidants will strengthen your hair. Make sure you are getting enough iron and silica, as these will help hair to grow healthier.

Some foods you should add to your diet are: salmon, avocados, nuts, eggs, leafy green vegetables, legumes and beans.

What About Shampoo?

Cosmetologists recommend you choose volumizing shampoos and conditioners. The ingredients in these shampoos won't weigh hair down, and will thicken every strand so that your hair looks more luscious.

Your shampoo should contain some of the following ingredients: Vitamin E, linseed oil, zinc, and biotin, fruit essences. Make sure your shampoo has the right ingredients for thicker hair.

Supplements

Your body needs good nutrients and sometimes you can't get all of it from diet alone. So that's where supplements come in. You should be getting all of the B vitamins, plus vitamin A, iron, and zinc if you want thick hair.

These supplements will help your body metabolize protein more efficiently. This will give you healthier gorgeous and thick hair.

Scalp Massage

Who doesn't love a nice massage? When you get a scalp massage, you are stimulating hair growth. Your hair will grow in thicker as well. The natural oils in the scalp get distributed to the rest of your hair. You can use your hands, someone else's hands, or buy a scalp massager because they do sell those.

Herbs For Hair

There are also herbs that you can use to encourage thicker hair growth. Some of these herbs are moringa leaves, amla, fenugreek seeds, aloe vera, curry leaves, and ginseng. Don't expect immediate results from this. If you use these herbs, then over time you will see thicker hair growing. They give lasting results as well.

Coconut Oil Hair Mask

Once a week, you should do a natural hair mask with coconut oil. Use virgin unrefined coconut oil for best results. Coat all of the hair with the oil and leave on for at least an hour. Then wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.

This will not only help you grow thicker hair, but it will also give your hair a nice condition. You'll notice smoother and shinier hair. Do this every single week.

Conclusion

If you take these tips into consideration and apply them to your life, you will see results within the first month. Other people will start to notice your thicker hair, and then they can be jealous of you for a change.
