Oily skin is a problem that plagues many ladies, but I'm here to tell you how to fix it once and for all. It doesn't take much work, just a few extra steps and you can be oil-free for hours. Here are my best tips to get rid of oily skin.

Oil Absorbing Sheets
Also known as blotting papers, these are little papers you can press onto your skin and it will absorb the oil. Some makeup tends to be removed in the process, so you will need to reapply some powder and possibly even some foundation after you use these papers. If you go out, just keep a package of blotting papers in your purse. You can slip into the bathroom and use them really fast. No one will even realize you were gone.
Foundations For Oily Skin
You can actually find makeup that is specially made to reduce oiliness. My favorite is E.L.F. Flawless Finish Foundation and it can be found at the drugstore for about $6.00. This foundation will help reduce the oil on your face so that you will have much less oily skin.
Apply the foundation to a clean face. A skincare routine is very important to have, and I will get more into that in a minute, but you should always take care of your skin and make sure it's clean before applying makeup.
Powder
Powder is always a great tool for reducing oiliness. The reason is because powder absorbs oil, so it helps to reduce the shiny film that covers your face. Apply powder over your oil reducing foundation for best results. Let the powder sit before blending it in.
You can put the powder in your purse and reapply it throughout the day or night as needed. It's a quick way to fix the problem as it arises.
Moisturize At Night
Sometimes our skin can produce excess oil to combat dryness. That's right, you may actually have the opposite problem. You might be getting rid of too much oil, so it triggers your skin to release even more oil. Some amount of oil is needed in a healthy face, so it's not advised to get rid of all the natural oils.
Moisturizing your skin at night can help with this problem. Use a natural moisturizer that is light and good for the face. I recommend jojoba oil or grapeseed oil. Both are great for skincare needs. Apply a small amount and massage it in right before bed. It should be absorbed by morning. This will help your skin feel more secure so that it doesn't produce as much oil anymore.
Develop A Night Time Skincare Routine
A good skincare routine will go a long way in preventing oil in the first place. Usually when your face is too oily, it's a sign of a problem. Maybe you aren't doing enough to take proper care of your skin, so it produces more oil in order to protect the face.
Clean all makeup off of your face before bed. Makeup contains toxic chemicals that will age your skin and clog pores. You don't need to go to bed with a dirty face anymore.
After your face is clean, always moisturize with one of the oils I suggested in the previous section.
If you follow these tips, you will be sure to have better looking skin that is oil-free in no time.
